Welcome to VendorDue

In short

A store you sell through uses VendorDue to show you what each sale earned you, when you'll be paid, and what they've paid you. It's free for you. VendorDue never holds your money; the store pays you, the way they always have, and records it here.

VendorIn the app: Your page

If you're reading this, a store you sell through, like Fernhill Pottery, has invited you to see your payouts on VendorDue. Here's what that means for you.

What you get#

Your own page for that store, on your phone or computer, any time:

  • What each sale earned you. Every sale of your items, with the working: the price, any discount, your consignor rate, your share.
  • When you'll be paid. Your next payout, its day and how much is on it so far.
  • What you've been paid. Every payment the store recorded, with a receipt.
  • Your agreement. Your consignor rate, how you're paid, and your items still in the store.
  • Messages with the store, about the exact sale or payout you mean.

You don't have to ask the store "how much have I sold?" any more. It's on your page as soon as Shopify tells VendorDue.

What it isn't#

  • It's free for you. The store pays for VendorDue; you never do.
  • The store can't see your password. Your account is yours, and nobody at the store or at VendorDue can sign in as you.
  • Other vendors can't see your page, and you can't see theirs.

Accept the invitation#

  1. Open the email "Fernhill Pottery wants to share your payouts with you" and press Create your account, or Sign in if you already use VendorDue for another store.

  2. Confirm your email with the six digits we send, and choose a password.

  3. Your invitation waits on the page: "Fernhill Pottery wants to share your payouts with you. They have you down as Alder Ceramics." Press Accept.

The invitation waits 30 days, and the store can send it again after that. "No thanks" turns it down; the store can invite you again later.

Right after you choose your password, VendorDue offers once to add a passkey, so next time you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device lock instead. "Not now" is fine; you can add one later. See Signing in, and several stores.

Your first look#

Your page opens on Payouts:

  • Next payout: the day it's paid and what's on it so far.
  • Owed to you: payouts the store owes you now.
  • Paid to you this year.

Under that, Live sales shows each sale as it's recorded, if the store shares them, and History shows every payout. See Reading your payout.

When it looks wrong#

I didn't get the invitation email#

Check your spam folder. If it isn't there, ask the store which email address they have for you. You can also create your account at vendordue.com with that exact address: "When a store you sell to adds this address, the invitation shows up here."

A sale I made isn't on my page#

Ask the store in Messages. A sale shows only once Shopify has it as paid in full, and only for items Shopify lists under your vendor name.

Common questions#

Do I need to install anything?
No. It's a web page. Add it to your phone's home screen if you like. More
Can I see other stores I sell through?
Yes, if they use VendorDue too. One account holds them all. See Signing in, and several stores. More
Who do I ask about a figure?
The store, in Messages. They set your consignor rate and pay you. For a problem with VendorDue itself, use Help on your page. More
